8-DAY UGANDA WILDLIFE SAFARI AND TOUR

 

LAKE BUNYONYI, BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST AND QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARKS (8 DAYS)

 

Day 1: Arrive at the airport, you are met by Atlas Safaris Staff, then you are transferred to Hotel Africana, OR Sheraton Hotel, Tourist Hotel, Grand Imperial Hotel.

 

Day 2: After breakfast, you drive west ( 10hrs) and go to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, via Mbarara and Kabale, with a stop at the Equator, and lunch at Agip Motel. Dinner and Overnight at Buhoma Homestead, OR Gorilla Forest Camp, Gorilla Resort, Buhoma Community Bandas. (B, L, D)

 

Day 3: After an early breakfast, start Gorilla tracking at 8:00am in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Tracking can be tough and we trust you are in a reasonable fit condition. You will carry a picnic lunch into the forest with you. Dinner and Overnight at Buhoma homestead or Buhoma Homestead, Gorilla Forest Camp, Gorilla Resort, Buhoma Community Bandas. (B, L, D).

Day 4: After breakfast, you proceed to Lake Bunyonyi near Kabale, board the boat and go to Bushara Island, check in the rest camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, you engage yourself in any of the variety of activities available at the Island. Dinner and Overnight at Bushara Island Camp. (B, L, D).

 

Day 5: After breakfast, you may have a boat trip around Lake Bunyonyi and then a picnic lunch on the banks, after that, you proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and then check in Mweya Safari Lodge for Dinner and Overnight (B, L, D).

 

Day 6: Wake up early, have a game drive and then breakfast. You may visit the Kyambura Gorge or visit the Bird hide, then have lunch at the Lodge. In the afternoon, you take lunch trip on Kazinga Channel to see a variety of Birds and Wildlife. Evening at leisure, Dinner and Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge(B, L, D).

 

Day 7: After breakfast, you are transferred to Entebbe, with lunch en route, when you reach Kampala, you may have 1 hour of shopping. Dinner and Overnight is at Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel (B, L).

 

Day 8: Day of departure, the hotel offers a free airport shuttle for your return flight. (B).

 

COST INCLUDES:

• Full board accommondation at Buhoma Homestead, Mweya Safari Lodge and Bushara Island Camp.
• Bed and breakfast accommodation at Hotel Africana and Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel.
• Park fees to queen Elizabeth National Park.
• Launch trip on Kazinga Channel.
• Gorilla permits at Bwindi (subject to availability).
• Bushara Island crossing.
• Lunch at Agip Motel.

COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:

- Any cost of personal nature e.g drinks, laundry, tips e.t.c
- Activities (i.e) on Bushara Island.
- Kyambura Gorge.
- Bird Hide
